Things in the U.K. not much better. Politicians terrified or for some other reason paralysed into inaction. I’m starting to think we may need to sack 50% of the civil service, they just don’t enact policy they disapprove of and they are completely captured by wokery. The result is even the Tories can’t get anything done about education. So we sack half of them and the rest better get the fucking message: Do. Your. Jobs.
Terrific and terrifying read, Arty. I used to think that Canada was this great place of opportunity for British people (and others) to emigrate to. It probably was back in the day, and I am truly sorry to see it sink into the woke morass. Sad.
For a while I covered the Warren Township Sewer Authority, and figured out that it was an underground municipality of pipes — that in turn controlled who got to develop and who did not. Had never seen Chinatown. I just think I smoked some weed before going to a meeting and figured it out.
Great article, but Trump didn't try to overturn the election. A few of his unarmed supporters rioted in the capital and he has never even been charged, let alone convicted of insurrection except in the the press. No charges. No evidence., and believe me if they could convict him in the actual courts they would. I'd say the whole fabricated Russian Collusion Hoax by Obama and Clinton that attempted to unseat an elected President was more of an election interference than one more riot in America at the end of a year of unprecendented riots committed by Democrats, and I say this as an Independant who has a strong disdain for both parties.
