A clip from someone at the Yale Pediatric Gender Program is making the rounds:
In this video Christy Olezeski, PhD admits that Yale Medicine is treating kids as young as 3 YEARS OLD in their "gender journey". She’s the co-founder of the Yale Pediatric Gender Program. 3 YEAR OLDS should not be led to change genders! Leave them alone @YaleMedicine.
“In this crazy time we’re in, people seem to think the only way to give “gender” the weighty aura of seriousness it supposedly deserves is to put it under a medical spotlight. How is it they’ve completely forgotten that medicine is a tool to cure illness, not to exalt identity?”
From a post by me at Butterflies and Wheels. Read the rest & feel free to comment there.
Stressors/resolutions for my 3 year old girl:
Darkness - comfort, temporary light
Scrapes - comfort, band aid
Bed wetting - comfort, temporary wetness alarm
Loneliness - comfort, play dates
Strangers - comfort, introductions
Wearing a dress - permanent name change, pronoun change, a lifelong medical pathway to drugs and surgery.
